You describe the job once. We pass the request to companies on our list that cover your area and do that kind of work, and they quote you directly. You compare what comes back and choose one, or none.

No. We do not design, plant, build or maintain anything. We are a matching service. The work is done by independent companies and your contract is with the one you choose.

Nothing. Sending a request is free, and comparing the quotes is free. We are not paid by you.

No. A request is not an order and not a contract. If none of the quotes suit you, you do not have to take any of them.

It depends on the job and where the property is – some kinds of work have more companies covering them than others. If nobody on the list fits your request, we will tell you rather than pass it on anyway.

Before a company joins the list we check who they are, what work they actually do and which areas they really cover, so a request only reaches companies it genuinely fits.

The company you hire. The contract is between you and them. We are not a party to it, we do not handle payment and we do not supervise the job.

Tell us in the request if there is someone you want included or excluded and we will take it into account.

Where the property is, roughly how big the garden is, what you want done and anything that would surprise someone turning up – difficult access, a slope, no water on site. Photographs help more than anything else.

They go to the companies we match you with, so they can quote. That is what the consent box on the form is for, and it is set out in the privacy policy.

The area pages cover where we are asked about most, not the limit of where the companies work. Send the request and say where the property is.

That is fine and it is common. Describe the garden and what is bothering you about it; working out what the job actually is can be part of the first conversation.
